2025 Village Fete & After Party - 21st June

✨ A Celebration Rooted in Tradition and Community From its early days in the gardens of Butler’s Court and The Old Rectory to the vibrant gatherings on the Alvescot Recreation Ground, the village fete has always been more than just an event—it’s a cherished tradition that brings generations together. Today, the Mid-Summers Party continues that legacy with music, laughter, and shared memories under the longest day’s sky.
This celebration couldn’t happen without the passion and generosity of our fundraisers, the hard-working volunteers, and everyone who turns up year after year with a smile and helping hand. Thank you to the whole village—and beyond—for keeping the spirit of Alvescot alive and thriving. Here’s to many more magical midsummer nights together.

We also thank the wonderful public who joined us, bringing enthusiasm and support to the day. A special shout-out to those who hired stalls and brought their cars to sell treasures, adding to the event’s charm and success. Your participation made this a true celebration of our village spirit!
Thanks to you all, we’ve strengthened our village hall’s future while fostering connections among friends and neighbours. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!

Burns Supper - 25th January

A Toast to Our Burns Supper Night Success!
Alvescot Village Hall and our friends at the church raise a dram to everyone who made our Burns Supper Night a roaring triumph! The sell-out crowd filled the hall with laughter, clinking glasses, and the spirit of Robert Burns, as we savoured haggis, neeps, and tatties, recited poetry, and sang Auld Lang Syne with gusto. Your enthusiasm has already secured a booking for next year’s celebration!
Our heartfelt thanks go to the dedicated organisers and volunteers who piped in the haggis and kept the night flowing, to the lassies and lads who packed the hall, and to all who contributed to the festivities. Together, we raised vital funds to support both the village hall and church, strengthening our community’s heart and soul.
Relive the joy through photos and videos on this very page, capturing the merriment of this unforgettable evening.
Here’s to more nights of Burns’ bardic brilliance—slàinte mhath!
Next year be already booked!
With warmest regards,
The Alvescot Village Hall and Church Committee
